i ran into someone from my past. bad years seem to come in 4's. hell, 1964, 1974, 1984, 1994 and 2004 have been awful. anyway, i heard the question before. "You aren't dead yet?"
i had to say, i'm not that easy to kill. maybe i wasn't put here to save the busload of kids going over the cliff. maybe my purpose is to keep on doing little things that make a small difference and together make a cumulative difference that is sublime but not worthy of a medal. i had my chance at medals. they're overrated.
i like cows more than people anyway.
